Scope of Services
VascularVue includes assessments of arterial health using ultrasound technology to survey for plaque build-up, stenosis, and aortic aneurysms. Additionally, any incidental findings in the areas examined will be reported.
Carotid Artery Screening
This screening can identify carotid plaque and stenosis (narrowing within the carotid artery that narrows or obstructs blood flow) which can lead to stroke.
Abdominal Aortic & Iliac Arteries
This screening identifies abdominal aortic and iliac artery aneurysms which can lead to rupture of the aortic or iliac artery, which is a life-threatening emergency needing immediate medical attention.
Peripheral Arterial-ABI
(Ankle Brachial Index)
This screening identifies peripheral arterial disease (narrowing within the arteries that narrows or obstructs blood flow) within the arms and legs indicating increased risk for coronary artery disease, heart attack, stroke, and limb loss.
